NYM stands for Noah Yesah and Maybe. It’s a Hard Old-Time Duo featuring Noah Yesah on banjo and vocals and Maybe (Maylee) on accordion and drums. Yes, she plays the accordion and drums at the same time, like one of those toy monkeys.

Rooted in 1800s old-time music and 1900s punk rock, NYM brings together traditional folk, DIY punk, and a healthy disregard for doing things properly.

Noah and Maylee have spent years making questionable musical decisions together, including touring Canada, the United States, and Europe. Now they’re back as a duo, with fewer people to organize and approximately the same amount of noise.
